Shell 2.0 - UCA as your whole desktop
UCA replaces Explorer’s desktop and taskbar: its own Start menu, window switcher, top bar and quick settings. One switch, and a safe way back.

A Start menu of its own
Tap the Windows key: search apps and files or ask UCA, pinned apps, recent files, Vault, Settings and power. Win+ shortcuts keep working.
Alt+Tab, the UCA way
Hold Alt and tap Tab or the arrows, Esc cancels. Win+Tab opens it as an overview: click a window, or arrows and Enter.
Top bar & quick settings
Background apps sit in the top bar like the Windows tray: click to open, right-click to quit. Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, dark mode, mute, volume, brightness and battery are one click away.
Wakes up with you. Never strands you.
The Eye wakes up when you sign in. If UCA ever crashes it starts again by itself; after three crashes Explorer comes back. Switch it off or press “Restore Explorer” to go back.
Your colour, everywhere
The whole UI follows your Soul colour. “Apply UCA theme to Windows” sets dark mode, your colour on title bars and a UCA wallpaper - “Restore” brings your old look back. Show battery %, seconds and the date in the top bar.
- Right-click the launcher to personalise UCA or change the wallpaper.
- Apps start without Explorer - no more “Class not registered”.
- Each shortcut can be set to “In shell mode”, “Always” or “Off”.
